Alexis is not a licensed physician, psychologist, provider of medical or psychological services. Alexis does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any medical or mental health condition, including eating disorders. The services Between the Bookends LLC offers are not licensed by California.

If you’re currently struggling with an eating disorder or another clinical diagnosis, please seek care from a qualified healthcare provider or eating disorder specialist. While nothing replaces individualized, therapeutic support, Alexis’s work may serve as adjacent, non-clinical support to help you feel more grounded and supported along the way.

Through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, Alexis became a certified holistic health coach with additional training in hormone health, gut health and mindful eating. Alexis’s coaching is designed for those experiencing disordered eating patterns, body image concerns, or food-related stressors who are not currently in an active eating disorder. Alexis also offers coaching to those looking to bring more balance and intention into their life. Through coaching, Alexis offers tools, education, and encouragement to help you create a more peaceful relationship with food and life on life's terms—but this work is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

State law allows any person to provide nutritional advice or give advice concerning proper nutrition—which is the giving of advice as to the role of food and food ingredients, including dietary supplements.
